Spiritual Grifters
I spend hours mindlessly scrolling through content and snacking on unhealthy treats, filling my post-surf trip void and exhaustion. In this vulnerable receptive state, I stained my consciousness with content aligned with my earthly mission of helping people avoid being taken advantage of by grifters posing as spiritual teachers. I even question if my own process online here is a form of grift or cult-like behavior. Somehow I justify my actions by saying I don’t charge a fee for what I share, and that it’s all a labour of love (although I think it’s a self indulgent.) I’ll let you be the judge as I evolve out loud, while attempting to provide value to your own spiritual growth.

Every thing and no thing
“I” did it! I spent my whole life preparing for this show, and it came and went. All that’s left is an empty bliss.
OMG I I I I I I I ME ME mE ME I I I
what’s your show about?
self involved
It’s all coming together while falling apart
cringe is beautiful
Most people are terrified of being terrified, afraid of their own shadow, they turn away, and never really get a chance to experience its innocence and how fun it can be to dance with it.
curated identity
Am I too much? Self doubt can be paralyzing, and yet the inner essence and joy beyond the mind inspire me to keep going.
sacred cringe
When you can experience/embody contrasting perspectives, it loosens up your attachment to either one as right or wrong.
hero to zero
TAOYOKA emerges to counteract this spiritual narcissism reminding people of their true position: a formless magical soul, not meant to be hijacked by the individual’s belief in themselves as the hero of their own movie
Narcissist or just a mirror?
A: “You attract what you fear.”
B: “I fear 10 billion dollars.”
let’s get weird
Spiritual Ego is not the enemy. It’s your identification with the idea of yourself that will limit your perspective. When you truly live as if you are the movie character on the screen (of your own movie production,) you may lose awareness of the FACT that you are actually the source of the light, and not what’s projected onto the screen. (Remember Plato’s Cave?)
